Schönes Spiel zwischen Süsse und Bitterkeit. Sehr reichhaltig, schwer, man spürt die Prozente

From old tasting notes. Labeled as "Hacker-Pschorr Maibock". Bright deep gold color with a moderate white head. Light malt aroma . Semisweet toasted malt foretaste. Bittersweet middle. Finish is dry and bitter. Long bitter aftertaste. Zesty, bold and flavorful. A very good Maibock.

Bottle shared at my joint. It pours lightly hazy gold with a small white head. The nose is soft, grainy, stewed orange, candy, candied citrus, strawberry, apricot and dried fruits. The taste is bitter-sweet, grainy, candied fruits, pear, apple, melon, icing sugar, doughy and some alcohol boost with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Good heller bock.
