As usual in the Abstrakt series there is almost no head and no visible carbonation. The nose is a lovely mixture of booze, toffee, berries and a touch licorice. Lives up to the tiramisu comparison with a rich body, dense molasses and toffee, ripe dark berries, slightly burnt butter as well as touches of dark chocolate and coffee. A really pleasant sipper at near room temperature.

Bottle. Unclear brown body with no head. Aroma has sweet malt, caramel and alcohol. Flavor is sweet, very sweet dark malt, dry fruit, soy and alcohol. Fill bodied and long lasting aftertaste of sweet alcoholic malt with dry fruit. Either the cellar times has removed all the tiramisu flavors or this is just not my thing. Boozy, sweet and one dimensional.

Dark brown pour, tiny bit of dark orange with no head at all. Aroma is cocoa, coffee, chocolate, milk/cream, biscuit and malt - tiramisu is a good description. Taste is cocoa, rum, raisins, dried fruit, cream, vanilla - aftertaste is orange/sweet citrus. Quite boozy (no surprise, given the ABV). Not bad, but the flavours are a bit all over the place.

375 ml bottle. Pours a very dark brown with no head. Aromas of brown sugar, nougat, brandy, raisins and dry toasted malts. Flavors of raisins, dull oak, booze and bread crust. Disappointing based on aromas and price.

2016 vintage. 375mL bottle, pours a deep dark mahogany with a tiny head. Aroma is very unusual, with lots of coffee, lactose, vanilla, and toffee. Flavour is like a tiramisu, with lots of coffee, lactose, and toffee. Sweet, uncarbonated, and lacking the rum barrel presence. It's decent; the sweetness is a bit over the top, but not quite cloying. Decent but I'm not feeling this.

Bottle thanks to Marcel. Appearance - cloudy amber with a thin head. Nose - raisins, mincemeat, honey, gentle marmalade and gentle coffee note. Taste - mincemeat, honey, chocolate nibs and syrup. Palate - medium bodied, creamy, sweet middle. Elegant drying out on the finish. Overall - I thought I'd rated this a long time ago, but this is drinking beautifully now.

375 bottle from Brewdog Doghouse Edinburgh. Dark ruddy brown pour, relatively flat. Dark roasty aroma with notes of coffee, chocolate, vanilla, pit fruit. Taste is thick and full deep fruity flavors, roasty malts and coffee. A real treat.

Sherryassosiasjoner. Farligwine. Min rating nr. 11111!
