Draught Good, stable, fine white head over cloudy pale golden beer. Fruity, leafy and hoppy nose; bit of rosewater. Tart, acidic, but nowhere exaggerated, gooseberries indeed present here. Light body, dry-out effect, bit sticky. Nice!

Draft @ Tilquin English Fest ’16, courtesy of and shared with the fine Belgian RB crew.

Keg at the Bottle Shop - Berkondsey. Pours hazy yellow-gold with a frothy, white head. Definitely some pear in the nose, along with tart lemons, lemon candies. Light sweet flavor, dry and slightly musty, with pleasant lemony acidity, some rindy bitterness, impressions of dried pear. Light bodied with average, spritzy carbonation. Super clean on the finish, tart and refreshing, with more pear, lemon, mild jammy notes. Excellent.

Keg at Bottle Shop. It pours cloudy pale gold with a small white head. The aroma is soft, fresh, clean, tart, pear, tinned fruits, stone fruits and fruit salad. The taste is crisp, clean, tart, sour pear, sherbet, grapefruit, light acidity, hint of minerals with a dry finish. Light - medium body and fine carbonation. Crisp, tart and crazy refreshing. Very nice version of this.
