330ml bottle, gift from a friend in Brunei. Pours dark with an over-enthusiastic head. Immediately clear this was going to be a bit gassy. Some roasted elements & cocoa with slight bitterness but unfortunately a bit hard to see past the high carbonation.

@Bfgm15, schenkt zwart met kaki kraag. maar Wtf... dit biertje wordt ook weer eens veel te koud geschonken...al de aroma’s worden zo om zeep geholpen... jammer... daarentegen kwam de tapper er ook achter en besloot vervolgens de koelkast van de stroom af te halen.... maar fuck... wat heb ik eraan.... heb het spul 10 minuten in mijn onderbroek- sorry handen gehouden om wat op te warmen... waardoor het spul vervolgens naar zwetende ballen- fuck... weer verkeerd... , koffie, chocolade, gebrande en geroosterde mouten rook... De smaken waren matig bitter, matig zoet, redelijk droog (voornamelijk koffie), chocolade, gebrande en geroosterde mouten, vanille, goede smaken. Bottle @ Van Moll Brewpub shared by Frits and some other dude. Thanks guys! Opaque dark brown to black color, small to average sized beige head. Smell and taste malts, smoky, something weird, iron, glue, some bitter. Pretty crappy actually. Meh at best.

(On tap) Black with a small tan head. Aroma is invitingly smokey. Full bodied, rich and smooth with fine lively carbonation. Flavour is full of dark smokey burnt notes, with plenty of subtle interesting complexity - licorice, dark chocolate coffee. A good stout, although a little over the top for me.

Bottle, 64cl. A dark brown beer topped by a nice, dark beige head. The aroma is perhaps a bit one-tracked, but nice, with a light burnt touch, as well as coffe and chocolate. The same can be said of the flavor, where there’s some bitterness to keep the chocolate, coffee and roasted to burnt malts company. Full-bodied and dry on the palate, with a lasting chocolate-bitter finish. Nice, but it lacks depth. 131004

Draft at Brewerkz Singapore. Wow... What a beer! Packed full of flavours that really make an impact. Strong malty overtones with a hint of caramel and a slight smoky burnt palate. Served cool but had warmed up by the time I drank it which was no bad thing. Lovely smooth stout and great for a session. Brewerkz never disappoints! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
