500 ml bottle. Clear golden body with a medium sized white head. Weak aroma of pale malt and some fruit. Flavor is light, pale malt, some kind of general fruit, a touch of white sugar and low bitterness. Medium body and weak aftertaste. Drinkable and some kind of refreshing, this one gives me a feeling of ordering any kind of golden ale at a British traditional pub and being lucky to get one without diacetyl. Nothing extra, but no faults.

Bottle picked up from Morrisonโ€™s minehead. Mostly clear golden / light orange coloured pour with a thin lasting off white head. Aroma is semi sweet grains, grassy, marmelade. Maybe a slight bit diacetyl on the nose. Flavour is composed of nutty grains, straw, woodland berry, hedgerow. Palate is semi sweet, spritzy carbonation. Grainy. Solid bitterness.

Pint from cask at Britannia Hotel 08.05.15. Clear golden. Dense, even and lingering off-white head and lacing. Aroma of grains, yeast and some hops. Similar and fruity taste, with lots of pale malt.

On cask at the Shakespeare in Durham. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - lemon and hay. Pale and crystal malt in the background. Taste - more lemon and malt with a grassy note at the end. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - solid enough.
