Bottle. Amber with a white head. Modest aroma of light bread, spices, flowers. Light bodied. Fairly dry with biscuit and bread, spicy hops, medium but persistent bitterness. OK, seemed a bit tired.

Found this in keg form as Cumberland Cream at The Grove Inn in the Manchester suburb of Blackley (the place listing has since been deleted by the UK admins) - Golden, smooth textured with a smooth head. Has a light malty character and a medium to high bitterness.

Bottle from Tesco’s. Poured a medium amber with a thin white head. The aroma is weak dry stale malt. The flavour is medium to weak bitter with a watery, medicinal bitterness which wasn’t entirely pleasant. Not the best beer I’ve ever tasted.

Cask @ Swan Inn, Dobcross. Golden with a creamy head. Has a hoppy bitterness, easy and is fairly crisp drinking.
