Bottle dark brown pour standard malty carmelized light toasted malts in the aroma. More standards woody malty notes at the end. Just OK

12 oz. 2021 bottle. Aroma has notes of caramel, toffee, wood, vanilla, bourbon. Pours murky brown with a thin beige head that settles into a ring after a minute. Taste is mostly sweet but has a nicely bitter hoppy edge. Very nice.

12oz bottle from Tavour. Dark brown pour, ring of fine beige head. Malty, aroma, sweet, chocolate, cinnamon. Sweet taste, molasses, malty, chocolate and light bourbon notes. Very smooth for 13%.

22 oz bottle from Tavour, 10/4/20. Rich, brown color, tan head. Dark fruit, molasses, toffee, raisin, along with some bourbon and wood. Lots going on here. Big, bold flavors. Not lacking in heat, that's for sure, drinks every bit of it's 13%.

Bottle. Pours clear reddish black, small creamy beige head, dissipates slowly, good lacing. Aroma is bourbon, raisin, prune, hints of pine. Flavor is medium sweet, light plus bitter. Full body, creamy. Lacking distinction.

Bottle @ Sour Sunday 2017, Berkeley, CA. Pours a dark brown amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty woody caramel bourbon vanilla aroma. Fruity malty bourbon vanilla caramel flavor. Has a fruity malty woody bourbon vanilla caramel finish.

On tap at City Beer. Dark amber with a small head. Sweet with malt, dried fruit and notes of bourbon. Rather heavy with warming alcohol in the finish.

Draft at the source. Clear maroon brown color, beige head. Aroma of burnt toast and caramel. Taste is sweet and sticky burnt caramel.
