This Imperial Stout is thick in texture and with high alcohol content (11%) with a rich cocoa base and intense chocolate notes. In addition to the chocolate flavor, flavors of chocolate, caramel, roasted barley and dried fruit come to the fore. It is thick and full-bodied, slightly sour with a medium-sweet finish. Can, 0.5l. Pitch black pour, three finger creamy brown head, long lasting, sticky lacing on the glass. Nice on the nose, sweet and malty with dried fruits in the background.

Full body, soft carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, soft, sticky, oily, chewy. Sweet taste balanced with very mild roasty bitter notes. Aroma of toasted caramel, roasted malt, cocoa, dark chocolate. Bready notes, coffee. Dried fruits, figs, licorice. Alcohol slowly building in the background, nicely warming. Long lasting finish, dry, boozy, bittersweet. Lingering fruity notes.

Very tasty.

Can at Brūstok 2026 with everyone who was interested (and almost everyone loved it!). Blackish, very dark brown body, almost no head. Quality cocoa absolutely in evidence in the aroma - dried fruit, earthy, creamy sweetish... More of the same in the taste, lovely cocoa notes, dried fruit being the primary note, soft and smooth and intense, at moments too intense, but quite lovely!

Shared by Marko at Brustok 2026. Many thanks! Fullish bod, med-light carbo. High bitter, med sweet. Med warmth. Lots of coffee, cocoa, also substantial woodiness, a bit astringent too. Weird if no wood used. Med-light prunes, raisins. Rich, strong, but stops short of delicious, slight harshness.

0.5 l can. Thick dark brown, brown head. Aroma is intense cocoa at first, dark chocolate followed by molasses and chared wood. Hints of black pepper and ethanol. After it opens up a little bit hints of dried fruit appear and quite some black cherry. A touch of nougat and toffee with an alcohol-soaked cherry. Full body, sticky, sweet but cocoa trying to dry it out, some bitter astringency in the back, afterwards lots of warmth and peppery ethanol. Flavour is mostly cocoa and chocolate, roasty and toasty notes. Finishes medium dry.

Canned 500ml. -at Ambasada Zagreb. Pitch black coloured, medium sized brown head that went away fast, dark chocolate and strong cocoa in the nose. Same in the taste with notes of chocolate mousse and hidden alcohol. Enjoyable.
