Bottle at home. Aroma is sweet malty, biscuit, caramel, herbal tea, light floral, sugary notes. Flavour is medium sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. Not a terrible Amber ale but I’d hoped for some fruity hops instead of sweet malts. Bit flawed, homebrew-ish.

Bottle at home, Nivala. Via Ratebeer Swap thanks to TomHendriksen! Colour is slightly cloudy orange with medium white head. Aromas and flavours: Some fruits, caramel, some hops and malts. Soapy and unbalanced.

Lichtbruin bier met schuim. Smaak is bitter hoppig en licht fruitig met iets van gras, wat geroosterd graan en wat noten.

Bottle. Amber color. Flat fruity, caramelly aroma (pear). Somewhat vinous, soft citric hopbitter flavor. Estery with laurel and caramel. Decent, nothing more.

33 cl. bottle @ de Wildeman, Eindhoven. Clear dark amber with a white head. Malty caramel aroma with some grassy hops. Medium bitter taste with a sad bitter finish. No India Pale Ale at all, heck not even a pale ale as it's way too dark and malty.

Huge, dense, pitting-in light-tan head over veiled amber-golden beer with some mossy sheen. Creamy nose, but with a lot of asafoetida, rotting (exotic) fruit, cypress with an edge. Not really enjoyable. Bitter-roasted, meatroast, but with a frying oil streak, allspice. Some Cockney version of fried bitter melon. Again decaying matter, including hops, roots, herbs, carrots, carnival masks. Slick, hopoils, medium bodied, good carbonation. Pretty awful, really. 4/4/5/3/9

Thuis geprobeerd met LiekevdV. Het is een robijnrood helder bier met medium wit schuim. Het heeft een moutig en wat kruidig aroma. De is bitter en hoppig.
