A bold, dank and resiny IPA loaded with a melody of hop aromas and flavors. CTZ provides a solid bitter base along with strong pine, while Amarillo and Citra layer in bright and vibrant notes of tangerine, grapefruit and pineapple. Mosaic rounds everything out with a hint of fresh berries. This brilliant golden ale packs a punch at 7% and 80 IBUs, yet finishes crisp inviting another sip.

Hops: CTZ, Citra, Amarillo and Mosaic.

On tap at Honolulu Beer Works, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma has some dank, herbal hops, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour has a strange, herbal hop character, some sweaty notes, and bready malt. Not the greatest hop expression—too much BO—finishing bitter. Not great.

Can from a Mexican restaurant in Lihue on Kauai. Pours a clear, bronze color, with a big, foamy, white head. The nose is orange peel, resin, caramel, and spruce. Sweet and malty, with a bright, aggressive bitterness. Medium body, with a sharp, sticky feel. Quality and quite hoppy.

The Aromas Are Spice, old hops, malt and a hint Floral. Flavors are somewhat like nose, bold bittersweet, not a lot else going on. Carbonation might be a tad strong okay body with a finish like taste. Canned 6 months ago.
