On tap at Kona Brewing - Hawaii Kai, pours a deep dark amber-tinged dark brown with a small tan bear. Aroma reveals toasted malt, a touch of roast, and a touch of red fruits. Flavour has a rich malt character, with medium roast, some dry earthiness, and a hint of dry cocoa. Dry, toasty and earthy. Good stuff.

On tap at the Kona location. Black with beige head. Aroma is dark malt, medium body, medium carbonation, and little lacing. Taste is dark malt and dry finish.

Draft at Koko Marina. Opaque brown color, beige head. Coffee grounds and cocoa aroma. Taste has bittersweet dark chocolate and coffee. Tasty.

A deep dark porter with a thin mocha head. In aroma, smooth fruity chocolate malt with light coconut and coffee grind. In mouth, a nice smooth bitter chocolate with good coffee notes, light and smooth. On tap at Koko location.

Tap at the brewery. Dark brown, offwhite lace. Light nutty, cocoa and dry coffee notes. Medium, dry body. Herbal spicy finish. Nice, wellrounded.

On tap at Kona, KoKo Marina, August 2013. Almost black with a small tan head. Aroma and taste of roasted malt, some coffee and chocolate. Dry and with a rather bitter finish. Medium body. An ok one.

Draught at Kona Brewing Company - KoKo Marina Pub, 6.3% ABV
Dark brown color, with red shades, and creamy beige head. It had some aroma of roasted malts, coffee, dust. Dry mouthfeel, with strong flavor of roasted malt and some coffee, no chocolate; the bitterness seems to come from the roastiness.
More Stout than Porter, fairly brewed anyway.
