Tap. Dark chocolate malt and ash aroma. Dark brown color with thin, long lasting tan head. Strong mocha malt and ash flavor with moderate hops finish.

Near black colour. Fresh black malt nose is decadent, with rich fruits. The palate is again rich in black malts with some fruitiness. Quality brew.

[At GABF 2004] A pitch black beer with a lasting beutiful brown head. The aroma is very lighlty roasted - I’m a bit disappointed in the lightness of the aroma. The flavor is sweet with hints of coffee, and a nice roasted end. The mouthfeel is very smooth.

GABF 2002: Definite chocolatey presence in aroma and flavor. Dark brown color. A certain flavor not unlike eating snow is present in the finish: weird.
