This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a nice hazy golden peach color with a thin film of white foamy and bubbly lacing rimming the top of the glass.
The smell had a sweet grapefruit and melon, slightly like honeydew with a fresh cut grassiness tieing it all up.
The taste was mainly bittersweet combined through the grapefruit and melon qualities. A dry sweet bitter grapefruit rind rolls into the aftertaste and leads to the same finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation seemed good for the style and for me. Dry bitterness pounds my tongue into submission.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good DIPA that I could have again.
Not my thing.
