More than Double-Hopped With Citra. Supersonic is a double-hopped, Double India Pale Ale. With the amount of Citra hops used, expect some seriously tropical flavours in this can

Can from hopt.com bbf 24-4-2021 sampled 2020-10-5 Hazy yellow, light yellow head. aroma of mango, grapefruit juice. malty base is delicate, not too sweet or too boozy, letting the hops shine. flavor is a lot of exotic fruity hops, some bitter and somewhat bittersweet i think malty balance, mineral water salty notes. The abv seems to make the beer slightly alc. bitter or perhaps it's malty bitter, but in any case i don't reallly like the balance of malts and bitterness, while the hops are fresh and juciy, the malts are too much like stale old real strong beer. doesn't mix well. i feel like this with many DIPA's but far from all of them.

Draught @ Fox & Hounds, Sønderborg. Pours cloudy dark straw with stable white head. Clear aroma of citrus and hops, with notes of malt, yeast and fruit. Bitter, hoppy flavour with sweet botes of fruit, malt and yeast, ending on a smooth, citric and estery palate with malty touches. Wel-balanced, satiating and very rewarding. Good work, Lervig!

Tap at MV. Murky orange body, light off white head. Ouch, initially very evident oxidation in the aroma, papery and oaty, with some citric and peachy notes coming out later on. Smooth, smooth, creamy juicy taste, with well hidden alcohol, initially sadly with only raisins and some oats in the taste (aw...), but some peachy notes do break through. If this was recently imported, someone got cheated. Still, hope to rerate it.

Can at home. Has a hazy murky orange colour with a small off-white head. Aroma of orange peel, mango, grass, diesel, grassy hops and pineapple. Flavour of pine, pineapple, orange peel, herbs and grass. Has slick and soft mouth feel, full-bodied and a medium bitterness. Both flavourfull and aromatic, and a NEIPA and DIPA. Really solid!

Cloudy bright yellow, creamy white head. Smells of thick tropical fruit puree - mango, papaya - with a touch of vanilla, sweet and salty, just a touch pithy. A unique flavour balance of fruit, dank herbs, vanilla and cinnamon, soft pith. Excellent.
