On tap at Cottonwood. Pours a cloudy brown with small beige head that lasts. The aroma is bready malt and cocoa. Thin mouth, cocoa, wheat, spice, light finish, decent.

4 months old bottle stamped best by 10/26 into a tulip glass. A: Pours a big dense fine beaded head atop a semi-clear mahogany body. Great retention and sticky lace S: Chocolate powder and pine primarily on the nose. A little orange. T: Citrus and pine hops with bitter chocolate and burnt toast bringing up the rear. Nice balance of flavors with no noticed alcohol. M: Creamy soft carbonation. Surprisingly light body, finishing bitter but fairly clean. O: Very nice hoppy brown I could drink regularly if it weren’t quite so strong. Definitely recommended.

Bottle from Kroger (near Whole Foods) Pours brown with a lovely beige head. Aroma of coffee, citrus peel, pine, caramel. Flavor is yummy! Coffee, orange peel, grapefruit, pine, caramel, slightly burnt toast. Very well done!

12oz bottle. Unfiltered brown body, beige head. A pretty solid IBA. Lots of specialty malt tones, balanced by a pleasant hop tone. Lots of ingredients, well merged.

Wrong style. This is simply terribly on style darker IPA or double IPA. What else can be said? Except perhaps its over the top and in yer face. Ruin my buds for an hour, will yah? Elbow in the teeth. Considering the ratebeerians on this site, I’m surprised its not a 4.8 @ 99%, they are eye-pee-eh lovers. Thick viscousy mouth coating brew fer sure. Not impressed with this hash.

Draught @ Albion. Clear brown with reddish tint, small creamy beige head, hoppy caramel aroma, low carbonation, faintly bitter mocha taste, thin body, medium bitter coffee beans finish. Very fulfilling and smooth.

Six pack at a bodega: pours muddy brown with a light beige head. Aroma is light roasted malt, earth, and some pine. Taste is lightly bitter and malty. I really do like this style of beer, so I enjoyed drinking four of these.
