Stout ale crafted with dark malts and a heavy dose of cold pressed coffee from local roaster Beanetics of Annandale, Virginia to lend a pleasant and smooth roasty finish. Full bodied stout will have a malty and smooth body as a result of the addition of flaked oats. Lightly hopped to allow the bold flavors coffee lovers will certainly enjoy.

An undending coffee vibe like stains on your wooden work desk. Some roast and a snap ofnraw barley. Black pour with decent head and lacing. Light bitter finish. Tap at Meridian pint.

10oz draft "half-pint" pour at Mad Fox Falls Church. Poured a pitch black color with a small, wispy light tan head. Aroma was like a cold cup of pretty well brewed coffee. Lots of bitter coffee notes, some light dark chocolate. Flavor was similar, semi-bitter coffee, really smooth and tasty. Light creamy notes.

Draft at the DC location. Dark brown color, beige head with good retention. Coffee aroma, of course. Lots of coffee grounds in the flavor, but it retains both its body and its beery characteristics. Well done.

4 oz pour on draft at Mad Fox. 6.6% ABV batch. Dark brownish black with light tan head. Aromas of big roasted coffee, chocolate. Tastes of big coffee, licorice, dark chocolate. Medium body with a dry finish. Lots of tasty coffee.

On draft at the Mad Fox Barley Wine Festival, Falls Church VA. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of coffee. Flavor also dominated by coffee with some hint of chocolate. Medium mouthfeel with soft carbonation Slight bitter finish.
