Liberty IPA™ is our reimagining of craft-brew classic Liberty Ale®, envisioned through the lens of today’s IPAs. We first brewed Liberty Ale in 1975, to celebrate the 200th anniversary of Paul Revere’s midnight ride. This revolutionary forerunner of the modern IPA introduced America to the Cascade hop and the nearly lost art of dry-hopping. Like its predecessor, Liberty IPA is made with two-row pale malt and Cascade hops. It is the combination of Cascade with new hop varieties that creates the mouthwateringly complex and robust aromas of pine and citrus in this crisp, American-style IPA.

(Bottle) Paler amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of mango, grapefruit, mandarin, passion-fruit, papaya, honey and herbal, floral hops. Fruity, hoppy taste with mango, grapefruit peel, passion-fruit, papaya, honey and a generous citric, piney bitterness in the finish. More than medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced IPA. Nice one.

Bottle at a tasting, beers courtesy of Cuso. Hops forward, rather bitter, fruity, slightly flowery. Moderate sweetness, med-light bitterness. Good but not great.

Félbarnába hajló, narancssárga szín, kicsi, tartós, piszkosfehér hab, szűretlen. Citrusos, citrushéjas, virágos illat. Citrusos, citrushéjas, virágos ízek, némi fűszeres és ananászos aromával. Keményen támad, semmi lágyság, semmi krémesség. Könnyű, száraz, enyhén szénsavas, közepesen keserű. Jól összerakott, letisztult karakterrel, határozott koncepcóval rendelkező sör.

Bottle, 355 ml, from Pivoteka. Shared with JFK10000 and Max. Cloudy golden, white head. Pretty much dead. Sweetish, malty, caramel, some fruity notes. Very meh. Medium bodied.
