Sunnyside Dweller is the closest thing we have to a core beer. Introduced in the fall of 2015, it was our inaugural lager. All these years later, it remains our go-to — a crisp, clean, 5.1% pilsner with a citrusy noble hop character and an assertive bitterness that mellows over time.
Brewed with unadulterated Loudoun County water and a simple grist — Pilsen malt with just a touch of Vienna and Carapils — Sunnyside Dweller is constructed to exhibit one of our favorite hops: Spalter Select. We add this newish-school German varietal in the boil and then again after fermentation, imbuing our unfiltered pilsner with a bursting bouquet of lemon and classic herbal notes.

Draft at the Brewery. Poured a cloudy yellow color with a small off-white head. Aroma was sharp citrus, light floral notes. Lemon, light light straw notes, touch of crisp pils notes. Not too bad.

On tap at the brewery pours a murky yellow with some sudsy white head. Nose has a lot of yeast and flower pollen, light grist, lemon. Flavor is more saison than pils, yeast, lemon, light spice, some straw. Silky finish. Mislabeled.
