Can at Maui Taco at MSP. Pours dark brown with a medium thick foamy light tan head that diminishes slowly. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roast malt and coffee. Light-bodied with flavors of chocolate malt, roasted coffee and slight hops. The finish is sweet with a roast malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

16oz can. Red-brown-black body, respectable beige head. Creamy caramel chocolate flavor, not much depth. Subtract points for being the 25th or so company to name it;s beer "Morning Wood". 5.5% ABV. The coffee is there, pretty incorporated into the mild roasty malt. Overall too mild, not bold enough or dark enough for Stouthood. Unimpressive, but certainly drinkable.

Sample from somone with the brewery.they brew at the new Cold Spring facility, but some beers will be out of white bear lake. Dark brown. Coffee aroma and flavor with some hops. This seems to mellow the coffee. Dry.

On tap at SPSBF. Pours a hazy dark brown with a dark brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a lot of earthy dark grains with a good amount of roast and dryness. Flavor has dark grain and roast malts that finishes nice a dry.
