Fargo Original is a traditional, unfiltered German-style Helles lager that’s perfect for when you want something light, crisp, and uncomplicated. The aroma is lead by pilsner malt paired with subtle spicy hop notes and a clean lager yeast character. The flavor is well balanced between the pils malt sweetness, the restrained bittering, and the crisp finish from extended lagering. Prost!

Sample at GABF 10/07/2017, thanks to my bro for assistance with note-taking. Clear pale golden color with a thin white head that burns away quickly. Spotty lace. Aroma of fruit, yeast and malt. Light body with flavors of citrus, bready malt and fruity yeast. The finish is fruity with a malty aftertaste. Decent overall.

Can: Lightly hazy, yellow-gold with a foamy white head. Lemon, yeast, grain aroma. Taste is slightly sour grain malt, lemon juice....grass and peel bitter. Very citric and acidic...and quite a bit of farmhouse feel to it.... different for a pale lager, but quite enjoyable.

Tap at JL Beers Bismarck I’m pretty hungover after trying to have fun in this town so easing into travel day with a pale lager. Pours gold light nose of straw and pepper. Tastes the same light lemon as well. Served very cold and it’s crisp not bad for style. N

Draft at Sioux Falls festival. Crystal clear yellow color, fluffy white head. Aroma of black pepper and straw. Taste is dusty, peppery straw. Decent.
