Barrel-aged Cherry Ale
Cherries Jubilee Quad is a Belgian-style Quadrupel ale, infused with Washington and Belgian tart cherries. Maturing gracefully for 13 months in oak apple brandy barrels, with cherries added halfway through the aging process, this beer is beautifully layered with bright, tart cherry notes and subtle brandy warmth, complemented by dark fruit, Belgian esters, and a delicate hint of cinnamon apples.

Cherry and bourbon. Some florals, plum. Pours hazy maroon without much head. Sweet and tangy finish, some malt there. Decent balance but not sure I'd rate this higher than some of their better Belgians.

Brewer describes it as a Belgian Quad, but I don’t taste a Belgian influence. It’s more of a straight strong ale. Cherry is subtle, not fruity or sweet. I didn’t have it after a meal, but I think of it as a dessert beer.
