Bottle from Total Wine in Folsom, CA. Pours dark orange/gold with a slight white head. Citrus/spice aroma. Full bodied or nearly. Flavor is citrus, even orange, with some definite spiciness. Almost grass, but I think spice. It’s smooth and bitter. Not really harsh. The heat has an effect in the back of the throat, but it isn’t a flavor problem If you like high ABV and bitter, this should do.

Sampled on draft at the Headkeeper this beer poured a dark orange-copper color with a medium sized foamy white head that left minimal lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy with vague fruity hops and a bit of grapefruit. The flavor was bitter and bitey with notes of cactus, pine, vague herbs and a medicinal note. Very long medicinal finish with a growing booziness. Moderately full bodied. Meh.

Mild wood nose. Hazy amber, medium head. Overripe orange, apricot, lemongrass. Triple sec finish. Medium body, easy carbonation, hot. Wow, this is boozy. Good flavor, but too big for my tastes.

On cask at PPG pours a clear orange with some frothy, white head. Nose is weird at first, brown paper and cheap bread, opens into some lemony, soapy hop, some dried grapefruit too. Flavor is extremely soapy, herbal, very tannic, like sun tea almost. Bad cask treatment maybe?

Bottle. Amber with a small head. Smells of pine, pot. Taste is strange. Earthy, slightly piney, pot. Uh, not a huge fan.

12 oz bottle at jcos' place, 10.29.15. Clear orange color with a thin sheet of head and drippy lace. Citrus hops, some pine, and a good amount of spice. Fairly dry flavor. Lighter sweetness. Decent.

Lots of pine in these hops. Pours amber with OK head. Quite bitter. Some sweet malt here, light caramel. Cask at Churchkey.
