Golden amber in colour with a delicate fruity aroma and hints of ripe apricots. Clean, refreshingly bitter and easy drinking.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Indistinct aroma - weak floral? I note that they call it an amber and despite most raters going with 'golden' I'd suggest it's more of a marmalade amber. The thin white head eventually shrank to nought. Very light bitter. Some citrus, some spice, but the taste is nearly as indistinct as the aroma. Light-medium bodied. Slick, almost sticky. Flat. Long, if low key, finish. I can see why this has been classed as a gold and not an amber, certainly taste wise. Drinkable but bland.

On the SilkTork Southampton through the looking glass tour. Cask gravity at The Butchers Hook. Clear gold lasting white head. Ok golden ale. Good condition. But a little bit boring golden ale. Some bitterness. Ok.

20th Egham Beer Fest. Cask. Hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and a little crispy. Bittersweet floralness. Mild marmalade. Little lemon. Crisp dry finish. Tasty, but more of a golden.
