Medium bodied, smooth with a lightly carbonated clean back.

500ml bottle from the Co-op in Jersey. Pours black with a white head. Aromas & tastes of caramel, chocolate, bread & roasted malt. Medium body. Smooth finish.

Good stuff. Pretty much a straight down the line mild. Can’t fault it, really. Nice dark malt character, a little bitter cocoa, burnt toast, suggestion of coffee grounds, earth, roast. Background notes of dried berries. Highly drinkable.
