Interesting mess of creamy head and clear gold body. Very soft aroma of roasted bread. Flavour is tangy sweet caramel and bread with a slightly bitter finish. Smooth mouthfeel casual sweetness. A nice mellow bitter even if it is missing a bit of excitement.

Halifax & Calder Beer Festival 2015. Tawny copper-amber coloured. Bitter in style but very much a sweetened one, with the aforementioned most prevalent in its nose.
