Bottle at home. The foul sulphury smell sends shivers of creeping horror down my spine. Aroma of malt, apples, unpleasant sulpury notes, spicy notes, sweetish ripe fruits. Flavour is moderate to medium malty sweet with a light to moderate bittersweet finish. Cloying and unpleasant.

500ml bottle. Moderately cloudy, amber colour with small, frothy, half-way lasting, moderately lacing, off-white head. Citrusy hoppy and herbal aroma, notes of lemon, lemongrass, balm, green tea, diluted coffee, a touch of mint and eucalyptus. Taste is slightly sweet, herbal, hints of molasses and treacle, a touch of celery, citrusy hoppy overtones, notes of lemon, lemongrass, balm, green tea, lemon tea. Still balanced, but with restricted drinkability.

The Polish and German night. Craft Clerkenwell. With Travlr and ChrisO. Keg. Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry, mild fine carbonation. Trace of caramel sweetness. An odd but light smokey note gives way to floral lime and a touch of thin orange. Mild seltzer bitterness before a light finish. Unusual and tasty.

Keg at CBC Clerko, 02/10/15. Golden copper with a moderate off white covering. Nose is floral, Turkish delight, perfume, melon, lemon rind, straw. Taste comprises more floral notes, not quite as high as the aroma, straw, lemon rind, grassy, faint herb, citric peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a herbal linger. Ok but too floral for my liking.

Keg at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Pours pours clear copper with a creamy, off-white head. The nose has some dough, lemongrass, kitchen cleaner. Medium sweet flavor with strong rindy bitterness, some bitter grass, wheat. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes floral and citric, with some lime zest, wheat bread, slight yeast. A novelty.

Draft. Hazy reddish amber color, off white edge head. Decent lime aroma. Much more lime in the taste that overwhelms the saison characteristics. Still tasty and easy to drink.

Amber colored with rather low head. Almost perfectly clear. A lot of herbs in aroma, hints of something like sauerkraut. Very spicy aroma. Love it. Medium sourness and sweetness. Low bitterness. Medium body with low carbonation. Very interesting beer.
