One of the fun wrinkles of a woodsy town like Long Hill is the fact that as soon as we have something more than a strong breeze, inevitably the power goes out. Folks around here know all too well how frequent an occurrence that is. Couple that with the funkiness of our 100+ year old building and you find that a minor power blip could inevitably result in the brewhouse lights dying completely. Anyone who popped in during the day a few weeks back may have noticed our illustrious brew crew plugging away with headlamps and flashlights trying to get through a brew day with no overhead lights. Hence, the essence of today's beer release.
Lamplight was crafted with a load of malted oats and wheat, hopped in the kettle with Citra + Citra Hopsauce, and then dry hopped with a beautiful Nelson-heavy hop blend bringing out creamy tropical fruit and rich citrus.
