An extra special beer for an extra special cause. We've known @yankeerunner77 for a few years now and were honored when he asked if we wanted to participate in this year's Melesa's Wings fundraiser, honoring Jose's mom along with all of those who have dealt with cancer, past and present. For the OBC team, unfortunate circumstances would have it that a disproportionate number of the fathers of our team members have faced a cancer diagnosis, with some who have lost the battle and some currently in the process of beating it. While "Pops" is named after those amazing dads, the beer itself is here for all of those who have had to fight the hard fight. As such, a portion of the proceeds from this beer will be donated to Memorial Sloan Kettering to further the fight against cancer.

The beer itself is fittingly a massive triple IPA, loaded with oats and absolutely dripping with the highest hop load we've forced into a beer to date. Citra, Strata, Motueka, and Riwaka are the stars of the show, mixing a tropical fruit salad with our favorite OJ blends. Huge creamy mouthfeel, bright lemon-lime, canned pineapple juice, and seasonal fresh stonefruit. You wouldn't expect the double digit ABV, so take it easy, pal!
