12 oz bottle, thanks Anderson01! Aroma is exactly like root beer, with some added caramel and wet river rock. Pours black with red highlights and a beige head that dissipates into a collar fairly quick. Looks better than Not Your Father’s Root Beer. Tastes like root beer with an added malt beverage character and an almost Jaggermeister type taste to it. Maybe Root Beer Schnapps is closer to what I’m tasting. Tasty.

From a bottle. Pours a clear cola with a scant off white head. Aroma and flavors of root beer. Sweet and cloying. Serve over ice cream.

12 ounce bottle. Clear dark brown with a large fizzy brown head, poor retention, very soda-like. Aroma of root beer... vanilla, birch and a hint of anise. The taste is caramel, vanilla, herbal notes. Pretty damn identical to root beer, but more natural seeming than the other famous one.

Wow I can’t believe you guys like this. Its horrible, root beer flavored cough syrup, herbal/medicinal and cloying sweet. Completely unable to handle more than 2 sips. No wonder Publix is doing a bogo on these.

Bottle: Pours cola-black-ruby with a quick tan head. Pure rootbeer aroma.....sassafras, licorice, cola.... Taste is good, old-fashioned rootbeer as expected (thankfully)....a very fine representation of....well....rootbeer....just rootbeer..... Could use a little more carbonation...... Nice vanilla, sassafras notes.....fun......very pleasant.

Bottle from Harvest Market Dark brown with faint ruby at the edges and a quickly dissipating off white head. Big birch and wintergreen on the nose, the smell reminds me of root beer with little else getting through. There’s a faint fruity oxidized phenolic something or other in the initial flavor but the spices obliterate it before I can figure it out. Taste is big birch and wintergreen again with a cloying root beer syrup sweetness that sticks to the mouth and throat long after every sip.
