Whether you have a long mission behind you or a full afternoon ahead, this session IPA will help keep things real. More relaxed than an IPA, but with all the hop aroma and flavor. Down to Earth is our Tribute to unsung heroes and unplanned adventures.

Down to Earth is the natural evolution (pun intended) of Bitter American, our original session ale. We thought it would be fitting to bring our space chimp home and let him chill. Down to Earth is available year-round in six-pack cans and on draft and pairs nicely with a variety of things, including lunch.

Keg at Beaverex '18 Day II, 08/09/18. Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white covering. Nose is citric pith, orange peel, straw, freshly cut grass. Taste comprises orange peel, grass, melon, light floral notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with juicy hop bitterness. Decent enough session gear.

From my father: pours copper with a large white head. Aroma is sort of biscuity and earthy and maybe some pine. Taste is quite malty. Lightly bitter. Earthy. Chewy sort of.

Can. Orange, biscuit malt, and grapefruit peel aroma. Hazy golden yellow with large white head. Moderately sweet tangerine, lime, biscuit malt, and moderately bitter pine/grapefruit peel flavor. Good body. A very nice SIPA.

Basic Session IPA, big on up-front aggressive hop flavor, bitter seltzer water on the back end. Malts give up mild grain notes and a toasted underside, while the hops conjure up quick flashes of grapefruit and pine before disappearing into a bland, yeast-tinged fade. Pours a slightly hazed gold with a thin rim of white and modest lace. Aroma's the best part, a nice mix of dank, citrus, and pine notes. Texture's nice and perky, as well. But otherwise, just another dull IPA Lite.

Poured into a becher pint glass, the appearance was a slight golden color with a decent transparency about it. Some carbonation could be seen rising at a moderate pace. Some messy lace.
The aroma had some melon, light pine and some citrus hop bitterness, not much, but it’s there.
The flavor blended the prior mentioned aromas together sweetly to grace a tender bitterness rolling about. Aftertaste wasn’t much and the finish seemed somewhat sprtizy.
The feel was obviously light bodied with the intended crushability about it. Carbonation felt good. ABV felt as intended by the brewer.
Overall, pretty nice session IPA that I could go at again, probably be nice by my grill.

From tap at the brewpub. Light unclear golden color with off white head. Light malty and hoppy aroma, grass, pine, citrusy fruity, bread. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.
