Pounder from my Appalachian local. A touch high for a basic beer with novelty, $4.12. Lo-Ball glass at home.
Dark black tea, amber highlights. Something of a cascade, lingering froth.
Smells of watery ginger, more potent lime & bitter peel, a touch Malta & white sugar.
Major cola & twangy lime upfront, mild dark barley note in the middle, lingering lime pith bitterness that goes slightly sour. Finish has a touch of sweetness but overall leaning bitter.
Thin, medium acidity, medium+ tartness, a note of festive booziness.
Kinda okay if you want a beer cocktail.
