Draft. A- Rye. A- Golden color, clear liquid, white head. T- Rye, herbs, spruce. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, spiced finish. O- Lots of rye in here. If they would’ve aged this in whisky barrels I imagine it would have been really good.

There have been a glut of rye beers of late and as this one shows not all can be winners. Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a clear pale golden color with a medium sized foamy yellow-white head that lingered and left incredible lacing. The aroma was perfume, floral and grassy hops. The flavor was dry and bitter with moderate perfume and grass and a touch of vague spice. The finish was long, dry, bitter and perfumey. The body was on the light side of medium. Disappointing.
