16 oz can from HyVee, Ankeny. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a stream of bubbles feeding a thick bubbly head. Light sweetness and malt in the nose, a touch of wheat malt spice. Taste is complex, as one might expect from a multi-grain brew. Tastes nice cold. A bit of light hop gives this a peppery note. A balanced, almost lawnmower beer, but its malt bill makes it stand out just a bit further.

Can in trade from jcwattsrugger, thanks for the opportunity! Slightly hazy deep yellow with a thin bubbly white head that dissipates quickly. Earthy spicy grainy with a hint of sweet bread and cereal maltiness. Spicy earthy hops are faint with a bit of light fruitiness and a hint of sulfur. Not horrible

Shaker pint draft at the brewery tasting room in Des Moines, Iowa. The pour is a hazed yellow orange golden with little to no head. The aroma is faint, was served pretty cold. As the beer warms some, there is the corn, rye malt and a general earth hop character. The taste is the corn, rye and hop earth of the nose plus a solid dose of wheat. The palate is light bodied with active carbonation and a clean enough finish.
