While not an officially recognized animal in Virginia, Cougars have reported being spotted within the Commonwealth. And much like its namesake, Turbo Cougar is pale, strong, and graceful. Turbo Cougar is a Blonde Bock, with clean bready notes, deep golden hue, full body, and lager drinkability. If you spot one in the wild or marketplace, you will be rewarded. Once again, the cougar is on the prowl.

Shiny golden straw pour from bottle. Malts hit you first. A bit of a weird finish. Ok.

12oz bottle. Filtered tan-orange body. Thin head. Clean, well attenuated. Pleasant bready malt tones, solid lagering. Some zesty almost rye touches, but mostly just a solid full bodied heller-bock. Good.

12oz bottle pours out crisp amber gold topped with a sand head. Nose is light grain some citrus notes and a yeast touch. Taste is more of the nice sweet malts grain yeast and pale hops.

Strong smell of nail polish remover here. Pours golden with OK head. Taste has nothing to it. Smell is rough. Tap at jackpot.

12 oz. bottle, from my secret santa. Pours clear gold, with a small, off-white head. Straw, biscuit dough, lemon zest, and coriander. Cloyingly sweet, with just a light spice and bitterness. Medium body, creamy, and thick, but with a clean finish. Overall, this is a sweet, sticky, and relatively complex beer.

Crisp golden coloured body with a very thin white head. Aroma of pale malt, alcohol, light sugars and a hint of honey. Light to Medium-bodied; Assertive metallic malt up front with a strong hint of flowers, some deeper yeast and a relatively bitter finish showing some english or german hops. Aftertaste has a bit of a malt characteristic with an assertive bitterness, some lighter grassy notes and a bit of sweetness, but not much. Overall, not such a great offering, but about right for the style, perhaps on the bitter side of things, but not awful. I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Whole Foods in Washington (Foggy Bottom [Eye St]) on 14-September-2013 for US$2.00 sampled at home in Washington on 03-November-2013.

Little aroma, perhaps peach. Clear amber, headless. Dry peach flavor. Fruity for a lager and not really doing much for me. A rare miss from a great brewery, but still respectable.
