Faint walnut nose. Clear brown, medium tan head, good lace. Mild wood flavor. Light and thin. Tame evem for the style.

Draft. Clear amber color, medium tan head. Aroma of raisins and toffee. Taste is sweet, malty caramel, subtle cocoa. decent.

4 oz draft pour at Churchkey. Aroma was roasted malts, toffee, caramel, touch of light chocolate notes. Flavor was creamy malts, light semi-sweet chocolate. Roasty. Enjoyable.

Sampled at GABF. Pours a caramel amber with some beige head. Musty nose, dried malt, caramel. Malty flavor, cracker, not much else. Clean finish. I know this won some awards, but it’s a little weak.

on tap @GABF-pours copper with an offwhite head. Aroma is sweet medium malt-toffee. Taste is sweet medium malt-toffee, 2nd herbal hops. 3.2

On tap at the brewpub on 02/14/2010. Clear copper amber body with a small off-white head. Sweet toasty and malty faroma. Sweet toasty and malty flavor with light floral and earthy hops. Medium light body with moderate carbonation. 7/3/7/3/13 - 3.3 On tap at the brewpub on 08/23/2009. Clear pale copper body with a medium creamy white head. Sweet caramel and toasty aroma. Sweet toasty and slightly grainy flavor. Medium body with moderate carbonation. 6/3/6/3/12 - 3.0 On tap at the opening of the brewpub on 11/21/2008. Clear dark amber body wtih a small off-white head. Sweet caramel and malt aroma with light peat. Sweet light malt flavor with light peat and floral hops. Light body with moderate carbonation and a very smooth finish. 7/3/8/4/14 - 3.6

Served on draft at the brewery on opening day. Pours a clear medium amber color with a medium head, nice lacing and decent head retention. Sweet earthy malt aroma. Taste is caramel, toffee and a slight hop bite. Medium bodied. Highly drinkable.
