Clear copper pour with an off white head that laces a bit. Smells of citrusy, piney hops. Flavor has big hops bitterness, piney and citrusy, that lingers long in the finish. Tastes like a west coast hop bomb that avoids the heavier malt of more recent ipa trends.

Nice one. At first blush it’s a typical IPA but there’s some subtle differences. Canned in Feb and already in the dollar bin.

On tap at Fulton, pours a clear copper with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of piney hops in classic west coast style, with biscuity malt. Flavour is vibrant, with lots of bold piney hops dominating, backed by crisp biscuity malt. Piney and assertive. Very good.

16oz can thanks to Steveoj pours out clear crisp straw topped with a white head. Nose is onion floral citrus and some bread malts. Taste is more of the nice light hops and straw grain notes.

16 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 3/20/2018. Pours lightly hazy/cloudy deep golden amber/light orange color with a 2 finger fairly dense and rocky off white head with awesome retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, cracker, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, cracker, toasted biscuit, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light-moderate pine, citrus peel/rind, herbal, grassy, peppery bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, lemon, peach, pineapple, papaya, mango, melon, guava, blueberry, citrus peel/rind, peppercorn, pine, cracker, toasted biscuit, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance, and zero lingering hop astringency after the finish. Light-moderate increasing dryness from bitterness. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, moderately bready/grainy/sticky, and fairly crisp/resinous/rindy balanced mouthfeel that is great. Zero warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is a delicious IPA. All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical/earthy hops and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, and easy to drink with the modestly bitter/drying finish, not overly aggressive. Spot on Mosaic showcase as expected. Very juicy, vibrant, dank, and earthy balanced hop complexity; nice bready pale malt backbone, with mild residual sweetness. Very well balanced and well made "Midwest" style. A very enjoyable offering.
