This beer has a deep yellow color, a very subtle hazy appearance and a white, fine, persistent head. Its delicate scents are a perfect example of balance between the fruity, herbaceous and malty components, and give it a light aroma that invites you to drink. A sip of Nazionale reveals a little masterpiece of connections between individual tastes. Its notes of chamomile and citrus fruits, balanced out by the gentle bitterness of Italian hops - grown and harvested on Baladin’s own hop fields - make it simply complex.

7-3-7-4-15 On tap @ Open Baladin, Roma. Pours slightly hazy yellow, with a creamy head. Aroma is yeasty notes of hay, fruity farmhouse and floral notes, as well as citrusy hops. Medium body, with soft carbonation. Flavour is tart yeasty notes of hay, farmhouse and floral notes, as well as hoppy notes of citrus and grassy minerals. Refreshing and quaffable.

Bottle.Golden orange color with medium white head. Aroma of Ranges, light zest. Taste is semi sweet with oranges, tangerines, very light hoppy touch. Good.

Capped 375 from Corti Bros. Pours clear, light gold with a transient creamy white head. Aroma suggest Bergamot. More than med body. Flavor is the aroma with definite Bergamot and substantial coriander. Dry and bitter. Lots of flavor. Excellent.

0.33 l can from Eataly, Trieste, shared with Ogi. Aroma is lightly hoppy, herbal, rough with some malts. Sweet malty with harsh hop note. Herbal, grassy, burnt grass. Medium body, light finish.

Italy - going out at the death in the group to a late winner from South Africa, that’s painful. The beer is quite nice at least, surprisingly hoppy, with nice citrus and grassy notes, and a soft finish.

Medium, just off-white head over veiled orange-golden beer. Nose of white wine & caramel. Spices, coriander in particular (sigh). Preserved orange & half-dried muscat grapes. Coriander. Dry-ish malts. Hints at orange/citrus, and a touch of caramel. Oh, and coriander. Light but nowhere empty. Very well-carbonated. Quite slick. Blond beers and coriander. It will never be great.
