A smooth, indulgent stout inspired by the classic chocolate orange. Roasted malts bring depth and richness, while oats and lactose give it a soft, creamy texture. Finished with real orange peel and natural cocoa for a decadent festive twist.

clear dark brown, huge smooth light brown head
strong and quite powerfull aroma of sweet oranges and roasted malts and dark chocolate. the oranges aroma does not come off as artificial, but rather like if they had used orange peel to spice things up. Very well balanced aroma that presents itself as a whole - not the individual parts. Quite impressive body and power for a 4.5% alc beer.
palate is a bit watery, chocolate dissolved in water. Flavor is a good balance between orange lemonade, chocolate and dark, slightly roasted malts. the beer feels very light and is extremely quenchable and easy drinking for a dark beer. quite dry - not sweet - not even fruity sweet - but also not bitter.

Can. Pours a dark brown colour with a tight beige head, plenty of roast malt and orange in the aroma, the taste is medium bitterness with a dry bitter finish.

440ml can from a selection box given to me for my 72nd Birthday last year, cheers Ben and Steph. Poured into the Vocation glass from the same box, at home on 1st February 2026. Very dark body, tanned crust that hung around. Surprise, surprise it had the aroma and taste of a chocolate orange, more orange than chocolate in my eyes. The orange isn't sweet, but the lactose and chocolate elements are, different and interesting beer all round.

Christmas Eve Beers #5. Black, second chocolate orange stout of the evening, this one has more orange than chocolate, but the solid stout styling compensates. Excellent crisp wintery stout.

Creamy tan head on a still black coloured body.
Terry's Chocolate Orange aroma.
Medium to full, creamy thinning out to a clean back.
Chocolate, orange, herbal & lactose tastes with a tangy finish.
