Long Trail Ale® is a full-bodied amber ale brewed with our top fermenting house yeast that yields a clean, complex flavor.
Our flagship brew has weaved its way into the Vermont landscape and become as much a Green Mountain tradition as the 273 miles of the Long Trail itself. Plenty has changed since the first batch rolled off the line, but one thing remains constant, Long Trail Ale’s® presence at ski hills, cookouts and get-togethers all over the East Coast.

Malty, sweet, a bit of a hoppy bitter finish.

Pour is a clear copper with a large bone white head. Aroma is bready malt with a little caramel. Flavor is baked bread with some more grainy caramel malt. Finish leaves some brown sugar on the tongue. This was a decent amber ale.

Can from this year's Advent calendar if i remember correctly, while watching some Peaky Blinders and maybe Avatar 3D if batteries allow. Mostly clear dark red amber in the light of the Apple TV screensaver. Herbal malty nose, wet Vermont pet moose blanket, nice. Moderately complex flavor with slight citrus and herbal hop notes. Definitely fits the Vermont forest feeling.

35cl Blik van Beer Republic Advent '23. Amber kleur, witte kraag. Zachtzoete caramel, wat geconfijte vruchtjes, erg weinig bitter, iets metalig. Lichte body.

Dark amber colour with thin head. Malty taste. Slightly metallic. Hint of caramelised banana but is subtle.
