Can. Pours a cloudy yellow color with a large white head. A big sweet lemon candy nose. The flavor is sweet sugary notes, lemon soda, oddly not a ton of carb. Ok.

As shandies go, this one is not bad if you drink it very cold when it’s very hot outside. Some of the beery characteristics come through, and it blends pretty well with the lemony bitterness. Not bad.

Can: Clear, yellow-gold with a small white head. Lemonade aroma. Taste is lemon....grains. Actually has a touch of beer flavour in there.... Not ridiculously sweet like many shandy’s... Not great, but not horrible, either.

Pours a yellowish light amber from a can. Aroma is a bready lemon, flavor is a tart lemon with a slightly sweet sourdough aftertaste. Not too bad.

Can. Lemon juice and barley malt aroma. Medium yellow with small head. Tart lemon juice, barley malt, and hay flavor. A lemon flavored beer - not a typical sweet shandy.

Tallboy can from Sam’s Quik Shop. Looking forward to this one as I fondly remember Del’s from my college days in Rhode Island. Go Friars! Slightly hazy golden, large foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of bright, tart lemon, pale malt. The taste is sweet lemonade with a bit of tartness. Pale malt with a bit of graininess. Thin, medium bodied.

16 oz. can. Mostly clear yellow color, lasting bubbly head. Aroma is straight lemonade from Del’s Lemonade stand. Native New Englanders have a special place in their heart for a Del’s lemonade in summertime.
Honestly for a radler, its pretty good. Very light grain notes can be found under the lemonade flavor. Pretty sugary, with tart lemon finish. It pretty much is exactly what I expected, a little better actually. Much more drinkable then some of the other “ Shandy’s” on the market right now.

Location: Draft at UCB, 8/30/14
Aroma: Sweet lemonade nose, some tart lemony notes, sugar, and a little cereal malt
Appearance: Pours a clear golden-orange color with a small head and fairly mild lacing
Flavor: The taste is sweet, lots of lemon and sugar, with some balancing tart notes as well
Palate: The body is light, it is easy drinking, crisp, clean, and refreshing on the mouth
Overall Impression: I'm not a huge Shandy fan, but as far as they go, this one was just fine, but there's isn't much differentiating this one as excellent or anything. You could certainly do worse if you are looking for something refreshing. Ultimately though, it is too sweet, and too one-dimensional.
