Behold Postmodern Classique, a saison that embodies the essence of authentic farmhouse brewing.

Something that is considered “postmodern” is typically characterized by a return to traditional materials and forms.

Postmodern Classique incorporates ingredients and techniques that have been utilized for centuries by small farmhouse breweries dotting the border of Belgium and France.

This bottle conditioned farmhouse ale was brewed with our filtered aquifer well water, locally sourced @rabbit_hill_malthouse floor-malted pilsner and wheat malts, Saaz and Lemondrop hops, and our special house blend of saison yeasts.

Postmodern Classique is rustic yet refined, and pours a hazy straw-yellow color into a glass, quickly forming a gorgeous head of tightly beaded, merengue-like, white, highly aromatic foam.

You can expect an approachable, light-bodied ale with a gentle mouthfeel, a harmonious balance of delicate, Belgian, yeast esters and phenols mingling with floral / herbal / citrusy hops, and a finish that is super dry, crisp, effervescent, and refreshing.

Postmodern Classique is a true testament to the beauty of simplicity, the elegance of craftsmanship, and the timelessness of tradition.

We get notes of bright lemon, springtime wildflowers, cracked coriander, flaky wheat pastry, peppery spice, Bergamot tea with honey, clove, vanilla, and farmhouse hay bale.

Bottles will be sold at room temperature. Store Upright. Chill before serving.

Bottle: pours pale yellow and slightly hazy with way too much head. Aroma is lightly funky and some lemon. Taste is dryish, slightly bretted and funky. Fine.
