Laughing Lab is our most popular brew among beer drinkers and beer judges alike, with ELEVEN medals to its name since 1994 at the Great American Beer Festival® alone. The Lab has a complex maltiness that comes from a careful blend of specialty malts. Its nutty, roasted flavor is mildly sweet, but not too rich. Smooth and luscious!

12 oz. bottle, from the bottle. Thanks, Steve! Good malty character, with notes of peat, cereal, and hay. Sweet flavor, with a minimal bitterness. Light to medium body, grainy, lightly carbonated, and crisp and clean. This is a fun, malty, and approachable beer.

This ale poured a brownish, caramel colour with a quick living, off white, soapy head. To the nose there are scents of caramel, butter, toast and a very mild grassy scent. First swig was smooth and medium sweet. A little watery with flavours of toasty caramel, dough and a very slight taste of smoke. Finish is thick and sweet with malty flavours and a hint of hopps lingering.
