From 2012 through 2016, Blue Bee Cider produced its ciders in a turn-of-the-20th-century coffee warehouse along the James River in Richmond’s Old Manchester district. The first records of the Aragon Coffee building are dated 1904, a time when coffee was often traded for tobacco down the river to the Atlantic Ocean and beyond. Blue Bee Cider makes ARAGON 1904 from a blend of modern and heirloom apple varieties to create a light, crisp, off-dry cider.

Bottle @ home. A BROsmer BROnus that deserves a fucken a BRO. Pours a clear light yellow appearance with a thin white head. Slightly sweet, tart apple pulp aroma that is a bit spicy. Slightly spritzy, fairly dry, apple juicy, lightly spicy, pear, a bit tangy, clean, light white wine flavor. Easy peasy to drink. Thanks BRO(smer)!

Update: Whoa, whoa, whoa. This is a fucken a bro 8.6% cider? Balls, this is fucken smooth. Two bonus points for the extra boost. I can just picture myself in a kickass confederate uniform with my feet kicked up and a goddamned musket at my side while overlooking a civil war reenactment @ Fredericksburg. I could just pound the fuck out of this neat cider while laughing at all the stupid southerners that think they should have won. It would be pretty fucken chill to put G N’ R’s Civil War on repeat on a silly old Samsung boombox while watching the dorky LARPers replay their glory days. Yay states rights!
