Draught @ CBC 2015. Pours black with a creamy brown head. Aroma of raosted malt, dark chocolate,.licorice, heavy peat, smoke, wood, whisky. Flavor is malty, licorice, wood, dark chocolate, wood, heavy peated, light smoke, whisky, alcohol. Medium to full body, soft carbonation, dry peated finish with light warming alcohol. Nice and smooth, ABV well hidden. 020515

Tap at CBC 2015. Near black pour with ring beige head. Aroma of malt, whiskey, wood, booze, roast, dark chocolate and light coffee. Flavor is light heavy sweet and bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Draft @ London Craft Beer Festival 2014. Pours a black color with a small tan head. Has a roasted malty chocolate woody weak smoky whisky aroma. Roasted malty woody whisky and chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty woody chocolate and whisky finish.

Draft. A black beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of peated smoke, roasted malt,and alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of peated smoke, alcohol, and roasted malt, leading to a dry finish. Over the top for me.

Draft - Peat, big roast and barrel with some bitterness. Jet black with a rich brown head. Peat, chocolate and a toasty bitterness. Bold, rich, nice.

On tap @ Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2014. This is a near jet black looking one with a huge lovely deep and dark brown head. I'm really enjoying the smoky peaty dark aroma in this. Loaded with peat and smoke this, but surprisingly not to much in any way. Sweet milk chocolate and dark cocoa combined in some balancing harmony. I get exactly the same elements in the taste. Peated smoky and lots of sweet chocolate. Some wood also located. A bit one-dimensional for some perhaps, but flavorful non the less. 03.05.2014

Aroma is heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, smoked, tar, charcoal, peat. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, peat, smoked, roasted, chocolate.
