Cherry Busey is a Flanders-style Oud Bruin Ale produced using a complex cocktail of wild yeasts and aged in a bevy of barrels. A multitude of Montmorency cherries were lovingly liberated to give the beer its tart cherry tang.

Aluminium bottle sample at a tasting at Naama’s place. Thanks Naama. Red amber. Big cherries aroma, marzipan, cherry pits, caramel, a bit of funk, cobwebs. Sweetish-sourish. Medium-bodied. Good.

Can thanks to James. Pours a clear amber with no head. The aroma is leather, cherry, oak. Thin body, tart cherry, leather, acidic, very good.

Can - Dark malty soured cherries. Clear Amber with a small white head. Nice acidic notes, cherry and malty notes. Solid.

Draft: Cloudy, brown-red with a pink-tinted off-white head. Cherry, toffee aroma. Sour cherry malt, wood, toffee malt flavour. Mild feeling, but packed with flavour.

Sampled from the can at GTMW 2015. Pours a near clear amber with a light brown head that starts and remains at the edges. Aroma has notes of tart and earthy cherry with a good amount of sweet grains. Flavor has a good amount of sour cherry with a bit of grain and a touch of barrel and oak in the finish.

Draft. Earthy lactic sour cherry aroma. Hazy red amber with a small off-white head. Tart cherry, almond, and light woody flavor. Light body, moderate carbonation.
