Draught at American Sardine Bar: pours clear copper with white head. Aroma is light citrus, light maltiness. Somewhat citrusy throwback APA. Low bitterness, balanced malt backbone. Easy sessionability. Simple and solid.

16 oz can. Pours a clear golden with a while head. Honey biscuit aroma with light general hoppiness. Flavor is quite light, spicy hops and biscuit, honey. Not too interesting, honestly.

16oz can c/o Anndiesel. Filtered copper-orange body. Off-white head. Pretty straightforward, classic APA. Filtration keeps it clean and drinkable. The hops don't jump out at you, but give a classic APA feel to it. Good stuff.

The beer pours a golden body, with a sudsy head that dwindles away quickly. There's a cloudy of "floaties" easily seen, likely particles of hop lupalin. The smell is rather light as hoppy beers go. Just a slight resiny note. The first taste is a bit dry rather than malty. There's the slight bitterness of dry hopping, on top of a bit more pine resin. The hop bitterness grows as I work my way down the pint can. But the beer stays approachable, with malt flavor equal to the Northwestern hop load.
