From a bottle this is a big dark looking thing, a little darker it could be a black ipa. Taste is big nasty nellie hop and rye bullshit taste bud smasher. Are you sure this is 5.8%, seems like a lot more. i think it makes me a little dizzy with the big gulps or is that just the IPA attitude smacking me in the back of the head? Long bitter, ruin my taset bud numbness for an hour. wew Can’t appreciate these beers that are so IPA. The next ubiquitous beer, IPA and IPA wannah beez.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a dark amber color with a big, dense creamy beige head. Roma has obvious notes of rye, along with caramel malt and citrus hops. Upfront flavor is all malt with more obvious rye and bittersweet roasted caramel. Spicy citrus hops emerge in the mid taste, along with notes of nuts and mustard seed. Complex and flavorful with a medium body. Finish is dry and chewy.

Bottle. Moderately hopped and a thin malt profile with a little sour flavor in the finish, and this is where the rye comes through.

12oz bottle. Filtered copper body. Thin off-white head. Bold aroma, lots of sweet rye. An OK offering, but the rye tends to add sweetness, and really makes the body heavier and less sessionable to me, taking away and smooth cleanness. OK for what it is.
