Decent dunkel. Some light smoke and caramel on an easy drinking beer. Pours dark brown like the oak paneling in the brewery. Bittersweet end. Tap at brewery.

Draft at brewery. 3 out of 4 ain’t bad. Normal pour, aroma hints at roast malts. Taste goes south with some musty, funky , sour, cooked vegetables flavors. left with an unpleasant bitterness. Miss.

Tap. Pours clear copper, small beige head, some lacing. Aroma is grainy, malty, caramel, nutty. Flavor is light plus sweet, light bitter, malty, bocky, a bit sharp. Medium body

Draft at the source. Clear dark amber brown color, tan head. Aroma of lightly toasted briwnies. Taste is sweet cocoa and caramel.

Dark brown, thin head, nice session beer with mild malty taste and pleasant finish. Had at the brewpub.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a clear red copper color with a thin head. Poor head retention. Aroma of caramel and raisin. The taste is raisin and bitter hops. Thin bodied.

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a dark amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty grainy aroma with hints of caramel. Fruity malty grainy flavor. Has a fruity malty grainy caramel finish.

Draft at the brewpub. Smooth and creamy. Black-brown with a lasting foamy head. This is quite nice, light, and fluffy. My favorite of the "regular" Ellicott Mills beers.
