Bottle received in trade from BeerKangaroo, thanks for the opportunity. My wife found this in the back of the fridge tonight apparently it got misplaced. Pours a slightly hazy medium golden color with a decent sized off white head that dissipates quickly. The aroma on this is citrus, pine, resin, green onion, a hint of dank and a solid bready caramel. Flavor is a bit sweet with bready caramel but certainly has plenty of hop flavor to go around. Medium body with a moderate level of carbonation and a sweet resinous mouthfeel. Great ipa tha almost got away.

The pour is a hazy burnt orange amber color that leaves the same colored body with a decent looking transparency to it indicating some light carbonation that is seen rising. The head is about a finger’s worth and dies at a nice pace leaving a nice foamy clingy lacing left in the wake.
The smell has a mostly sweet and bitter grapefruit, pine, floral scents through the hops, malts do present themselves but it really takes a while
The taste has a sweet citrus and pine with some nice floral notes; bright sweet citrus aftertaste and a dry citrus yet piney finish.
The palate has a light to medium styled body with a somewhat sessionable quality that leaves a nice bitter harshness that pounds my mouth and tongue like a good AIPA should.
Overall, wow, what a nice AIPA by Laurelwood, though this is my first one from Laurelwood, I’m excited that they sent this up here and am hoping they’ll send more.

Tap at Laurelwood on Sandy. PDX, 25/05/13. Hazed light orange amber with a thin off white head. Nose is bitter orange, pine bite, hops, light grapefruit. Taste carries a good dose of pine, orange pith, bitter grapefruit, dank hops. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry finish with a good pine bite and hop bitterness. Decent piney IPA.

Sample at the Laurelwood Public House at PDX. This brew is a clear orange-gold color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Stringy lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus, hops and sweet malt. Medium body with flavors of resiny hops, roast malt and citrus. The finish is moderately bitter with a citrusy hops aftertaste. Pretty good IPA all around.

Draft. Light amber body. Frothy white head. Aroma of grapefruit, citrus, toasted grain. Hint of caramel. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery/velvety texture, lively carbonation. Hop taste trips over raw grain taste. Unclean in the mouth. Taste of floral hops, citrus. Sweet unlike many west coast IPAs.

On tap at the Airport location. Pours a cloudy copper color with a large white head. A big fruity nose with some caramel. The flavor is really nice showcasing resiny goodness, light bitterness, very sweet and robust flavors, lingering resin. Great!

Bottle at the First Big Stout Tasting, London - thanks to Bruce for this change-up. Pours clear, vibrant gold with a tight, white cream head. Bright citrus nose, lots of tangerine and orange, some hints of alcohol. Medium sweet flavor, some toasted white bread, light pine needles. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly resinous finish, plenty of fruity citrus. Fresh and very tasty.
