Workhorse is a true West Coast IPA, featuring over-the-top hop flavor and aroma. Three separate dry hop additions in the fermenter make this one of our hoppiest beers to date.

Bomber from SuzyGreenberg - thanks Ben. Pours lightly hazy amber with a foamy 4 finger beige head. Aroma is hugely citric. Medium body with sharpish carbonation. Flavor is pretty much grapefruit rind over mildly roasted caramel. The hop is huge. Thins a bit in the finish. Bitter just builds and builds.

Sampled on tap at SIB, pours murky orange. Aroma of hops, caramel and grapefruit. Flavour is a more balanced hops / malt body, with earthiness and grapefruit. Nice one.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a malty hoppy pine needles aroma with some hints of grapefruit. Sweetish malty hoppy pine flavor. Has a long malty hoppy bitter finish with a slightly bitter aftertaste.

Draft. A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet and very grassy. The flavor is also sweet and very grassy - is it Amarillo? The finish is dry grassy and very bitter. I like it.

Draught at Concordia Ale House. Poured Red copper orange with small white head. Hoppy, floral aroma, very big. Much lacing. Big full motuh hoppy flavour, with much taste of the land. Light finish like a leaving train.

On tap at the BP. Slightly hazy medium orange amber. Nice cotrusy hoppy citrusy aroma. Flavoe is malty and not quite up to what rhe aroma teased me with. Medium light bite. Pale and papery. Moderately bitter on the tail.

Golden-amber w slight haze. Medium head. Lots of dank dry-hopping, with a biscuity malt underpinning. The palate is more like grapefruity, piney. The malts are still nice, if a bit sweeter and lighter on the biscuit. I can certainly see why I thought this was so wonderful ten years ago...it’s still an IPA I would drink regularly.
